Fall is here and that means last-minute bookings for the holidays! Although many of the properties in the CK Representation portfolio only have one or two rooms left for key dates, there are still opportunities for travelers looking to take advantage of rare openings at some of the best destinations in Latin America. Whether your guests prefer to celebrate with toes in the sand in Central America or on an Andean or Amazon immersion, as always they will enjoy the benefit of an exclusive and custom trip without any of the crowds typically associated with the holiday season.

COSTA RICA
Arenas del Mar — One of our top pick for families in Latin America, Arenas del Mar has decent availability for festive season. This is a great opportunity to enjoy Manuel Antonio National Park with (or without!) kids in tow.
Kurà — This adults-only retreat has very limited availability for festive season, with only a few rooms remaining between Christmas and New Years.
Hotel Aguas Claras — Bohemian-chic Hotel Aguas Claras has availability leading up to Christmas this year, then followed by a sold-out period surrounding New Years. The perfect pre-holiday getaway for couples, groups of friends, or families traveling with slightly older children.
Senda Monteverde — Senda Monteverde is looking quite booked for Christmas and New Years this year, but there is still availability on surrounding dates. That means this mountainside retreat could be a great combination with another beach Central America property for an unforgettable family vacation.
El Remanso Rainforest Lodge — Space is available during the festive timeframe as of publication, but this can and will change quickly! Get in touch with the team directly at info@elremanso.com to get current updates.
NICARAGUA
Jicaro Island Lodge — With decent availability over the festive period remaining this year, Jicaro Island is the place to go for a cool, off-the-beaten-path holiday vacation. Whether your guests spend the whole time at Jicaro or you combine with another complementary Central America property, this is a great opportunity to experience one of our classic CK destinations.
Rancho Santana — Rancho Santana is an ideal place to celebrate with family and friends, and their availability for 2026 shows it! Few rooms remain for festive, but there are definitely still options including the desirable and spacious Garden View Casitas. PANAMA
Isla Palenque — The ship may have sailed on a festive vacation at Isla Palenque this year, as extremely limited rooms remain over prime dates. Reach out for current availability though, as you never know what might open up!
GUATEMALA
Bolontiku — Bolontiku has scattered availability around Christmas and New Years, with a few sold-out dates in between that will require careful planning. Reach out to make it happen for guests who are set on experiencing Guatemala this holiday season.
ARGENTINA
Las Balsas — Las Balsas is closed annually from 12/26-1/11, and has very limited availability leading up to Christmas. That means there are still a few rooms, though, so don’t hesitate to reach out to get current availability for your travelers as soon as possible!
Estancia Los Potreros — Estancia Los Potreros, one of the newest additions to the CK Portfolio, is sold out for festive this year.
PERU
Inkaterra — Availability at Inkaterra’s properties varies throughout festive season. Reach out at turney@clarkkotula.com for details!
Andean — Once again for 2026, there is scattered availability at all of Andean’s boutique properties in Southern Peru. This makes it possible for guests to explore an entire Southern Travesia, or just pick one or two properties that align with their desires and schedule.
Titilaka — Located on the shores of Lake Titicaca, stunning Titilaka awaits your travelers with plenty of flexibility before Christmas and more limited options from December 24 onwards.
CIRQA — While fully booked right after Christmas at time of writing, there is limited availability at this historic, boutique property in Arequipa leading up to the holidays and on New Year’s Eve.
PUQIO — Luxurious and tented PUQIO in the Colca Valley has space over Christmas and into New Years! We love a three–if not four–night stay here to take full advantage of the magic of the region, and the extensive hiking and excursion opportunities found in the PUQIO guide book.
Tinajani — This is a great opportunity to explore Andean’s newest camp, Tinajani in the Tinajani Canyon. All dates including New Year’s Eve currently have space, though the property itself has only six tented Campamentos, and they’ll likely fill fast!
CHILE
Patagonia Camp — Availability is scarce, but exists, at Patagonia Camp this festive season! This is a great opportunity to snatch one of the last yurts and experience the beautiful Lake Toro region of Patagonia during their summer season. Estancia Cerro Guido — Thanks to an unexpected opening, there is availability at Estancia Cerro Guido from December 1-19 this year. La Casona at Matetic Vineyards — For travelers looking for the ultimate convenient getaway outside of Santiago this festive season, La Casona is a great option. With scattered availability surrounding both Christmas and New Years, it’s definitely work inquiring to see if your desired dates remain.
Tawa Refugio del Puelo — Although New Years at Tawa is sold out, there is scattered availability before and after. Have travelers who are flexible on dates? February is looking like a prime time (and weather period) to journey to this northern Patagonia gem!
